this is true, recording with different options can add even another complexity to a recording and thus it matters how you record to make a game's recording work. It's also not a great thing to force people to play at fs0 when their computer is slow... hopefully people won't take advantage of this fs...

can anyone playback the OTHER police trainer recordings besides frankies? looks like you have to record with frameskip 0 or the recording will be toast... I can only get frankies to playback, and the others dont work even with nvram that i've tried.

tried a default nvrams for ssideki and sbros, still no go... I also got most all of the contcirc recordings to playback, DMY's played back to 5Mil + with no sound and frameskip 0, the initials were entered in a wierd way and the car just stopped for the last 10 seconds, maybe DMY "hit escape&qu...

This happened again. It pauses in the Marp BANNER FRAME right after the "Logout" link is displayed, waits a while, then gives the 107 error, then i hit no. Rest of Marp banner then appears.

It's possible zlib was staticly linked, thus you don't have to have it in the dir for recent mames. knckhead canot be recorded (and playedback) using mamew or mame32 for versions after mame56. mame crashes. And this games doesn't appear to playback when dos mame is used, even though it plays ok and doesn't crash. (you read my thoughts while i was editing!)
