Now we just have to get you back to #marp I'm working on that front...... just need to get the funds together to support having an independent ISP instead of using work to get to the Net and then I'll be back in #marp... unfortunately having gotten used to broadband at work I don't really want to g...

Nice to see you upload an inp too... how long has it been since your last one? Probably 18 months or maybe 2 years since I last uploaded one. Actually I've been too busy with other things recently to spend much time on Mame or Marp or even these boards.... but now that winter seems to have set in f...

I seem to remember WordPerfect (I think) had you quadruple-clicking to select a paragraph You remember correctly: Single click - put the carat at that point Double click - select the word under the carat Triple click - select the sentence "under" the carat Quadruple click - select the par...

At least windows is keyboard friendly...... unlike the Mac or Mac originating software such as Adobe Reader which goes out of its way to interefere with standard keyboard shortcuts that Windows users are used to........ I mean to say what is it with tripple clicking the mouse for goodness sake when ...

I didn't say I was any good at Crazy Climber - but then I wasn't particularly good in the arcades either. I just found I made much less mistakes using keyboard than I did with the Joysticks in the Arcades but then they were clumsy big joysticks in the Crazy Climber models I played here in NZ rather ...

Point 2 is for Crazy Climber, Assault and others with hard control for keyboard too? You find Crazy Climber hard with the keyboard? I actually find this game easier to play with Mame on the keyboard than I did playing it with two joysticks in the arcade. Mainly I think because it's quicker to swap ...

Presumably he's referring to the potential for it to be overloaded with people trying to watch live broadcast of the funeral over the net causing a larger than usual loading?

MARP Username: BJ 1. Yes 2. Yes 3. No ie: No kind of remapping allowed other than changing the button layout to a more comfortable layout or one that avoids ghosting/collisions on your keyboard where that remapping is one key to another different and unused key as many times as necessary to achieve ...

Anders - I think you've hit the nail on the head. Chad - John actually wanted his GEGOTW games expressly allowed in Marp Tournaments rather than banned. (Unless of course prior Marp Tournaments mean they are not allowed.) John - Given that Chad appears to have misinterpreted your posting, I trust th...

We've always allowed for a player to insert 2 credits, start a 2 player game and play with Player 2 on Galaga, and clones, for the sole reason that Player 2's score will show the millions and 10s of millions points columns and therefore it is much easier to determine the players final score. Cheers,...

Here's a thought: If you can't find a suitable key combination to play the game without ghosting etc, then just don't play that game. There's thousands of others to choose from that will work with a keyboard and will work quite admirably. I definitely vote against any form of remapping other than as...

A zero score indicates that it can't be played back.

Also, the person who zeros the score normally puts a comment to that effect in the description as well as what the claimed score was prior to it being zeroed.

Noooooooooo........ the best game on the N64 is Banjo Kazooie...... of course it's one of the few that came with the N64 I was given but it's the first large 3d platform game of that type with multiple moves to learn that I've ever bothered with....... Now of course I keep hoping to find a copy of B...
