Ultraman (Japan)

WRX2:s recording plays back perfectly, but the score should be 728,740 and not 727,840.

tar's Saturn recording

Another case of leeching. It's an interesting technique, but it probably belongs on the tips and tricks page instead.

Klax (prototype set 1)

Hisa's inp plays back without problem, but the score should be 2,018,045.

If you use the cli version you turn off the leds with the -noleds switch. In the gui version there is a checkbox somwhere. I can't get the gui version to work in ME, so I can't tell you exactly where, though. :-P

I like to play all holes in the golf games, but I have to agree with Q.T. on this one when it comes to submitting scores to MARP. Basically because for me the "one game, one credit"-rule is what MARP is all about. I like to paint a picture in my mind where I am walking in the middle of the...

To ban nvram and then make it a requirement in some cases is a bit confusing, especially for newbies. A better solution would be if mame, or perhaps just alphamame, could record the F3-key. This would make it possible to use the different key sequences to enable these modes instead of having to use ...

I think Francois's question is interesting and as I see it you miss the point a bit, Rick. Let's imagine the following scenario: Rick has a 200 000 point pac man score made with a standard mame version. When I submit a score of 20 000 with alphamame, Rick's score is blocked to 19 999. The next day I...
