Re: It's easier to call this "snpb - random"

Moved these three uploads to their rightful place. Didn't thank you yet for this, so thanks Barry. Here's a new one, Toki no Senshi - Chrono Soldier. http://replay.marpirc.net/r/tokisens http://replay.marpirc.net/r/tokisensa http://replay.marpirc.net/inp/3/0/a/snpb_tokisens_3600_wolf177.zip I didn'...

ddr - mpangj-em - 925900

http://replay.marpirc.net/inp/2/e/b/ddr_mpangj-em_925900_wolf185.zip http://replay.marpirc.net/r/mpangj-em Does not playback. Actually It does playback correctly, but with NVRAM. Without NVRAM, the game displays one more screen of text and 1P button isn't pressed anymore after those, causing the rep...

Re: It's easier to call this "snpb - random"

Does anybody know if there's a good reference available anywhere documenting the history of such changes? ... mameinfo.dat? You download and set it up, open MAME, select the game of interest, and read its history. In a few seconds you know if romsets have been renamed and when, but also if CPU spee...

Re: It's easier to call this "snpb - random"

was there a rom name change since wolf 103? Since mame 0.103 (exactly A HUNDRED versions ago!) tons of romsets were renamed and added. Just imagine how many mistakes saulonpb has done for all this time with so many (useless) uploads, I limited myself to check/report only those cases where he manage...

Re: It's easier to call this "snpb - random"

Part three. WEC Le Mans 24 (v2.01) http://replay.marpirc.net/r/wecleman According to mameinfo.dat on 0.202 wecleman was renamed to weclemana hence this replay by saulon http://replay.marpirc.net/inp/1/a/4/snpb_wecleman_14520_wolf103.zip should be moved there. Slightly off topic note: WEC Le Mans 24 ...

Re: It's easier to call this "snpb - random"

I told you, I saw it coming. Last Mission (US revision 8 ) http://replay.marpirc.net/r/lastmisn As read here: http://forums.marpirc.net/viewtopic.php?f=9&t=16225#p65473 this was added with mame 0.198 hence saulon's score http://replay.marpirc.net/inp/f/3/f/snpb_lastmisn_15900_wolf103.zip should be m...

It's easier to call this "snpb - random"

Sorry if this doesn't sound professional like I did everytime in the past, and that is, a topic for every single recording, but... they keep coming. I hope it doesn't happen, but, I'm confident there will be more posts from me for this topic in the future. This week, Iron Horse. http://replay.marpir...

Re: ROM issue

I think we have the same romset.
I tried to do the process on my own, to help you out, and the version of the romset I found has only 5 bin files, while the game requires a dozen or so.

snpb - megazone - 14270

http://replay.marpirc.net/inp/a/7/d/snpb_megazone_14270_wolf103.zip Claimed "megazone" as romset, it actually should be moved to megazonei, since (wolf?)mame 0.103 used. Reading from mameinfo.dat - 0.189: Corrado Tomaselli and The Dumping Union added Mega Zone (program code L). Added new 74LS259 dev...

Re: saulonpb - dkong - 3,200

I agree that something should be done. Just consider how many replays of those have been actually considered by community. One Donkey Kong replay just because there's an independent ranking for this classic and every replay, even the worst ones, is classified. The suspicious replays magically placed...

Re: MAME 0.197 Game Changes

Pat, Pochi and Nyaa has a split in MARP for VS CPU mode (pnyaa is Attack mode, pnyaa-vs the challenge against CPU). Therefore, the current pnyaa-vs should be renamed to pnyaaa-vs and new fresh pnyaa-vs should be added. When you can... :) For the sake of knowledge, Pochi and Nyaa v2.02 has a differen...

Re: The fall of the Gods

I've read a lot about these, actually just from private messages/chats with people interested about the facts... tbh, I'm not really sure I fully understood everything in detail, and a true topic put under discussion here is about TG's way of authentication of scores, which I personally poorly know ...

snpb - blasto - 13800

Brought to you with usual facepalm #-o http://replay.marpirc.net/inp/d/f/f/snpb_blasto_13800_wolf103.zip Claimed as 13800, this input file has actually two credits played, real score here is 7070.
