All American Football is a odd case that doesn't fall under this because your score is not based on the sports score.

Instead it's the "salary" number, which is provided to you when you fail to continue.

With this game, and all other like it, you only get 1 quarter of the game per credit, but you have too play all four quarters for a complete game. This is regardless of player performance, and it scores like a real sports game. 4 credits corresponds exactly with a full game of 2 on 2 basketball. You...

You cannot play with speedup cheat. We know there were games on location with the speedup chip in them (so ms pacman was perma fast), but as far as I know, no currently accepted mame version for MARP will play those roms. :(

yeah the games i mention need special scoring rules. the fact that there are so many identical tetris system 16 variants means that there's plenty of options for alternate tiebreaker and scoring rules. You cannot eliminate randomizer abuse from this game, because the sequence is set in stone at game...

In many sports games, like say, NBA Jam, a full game is 4 credits. one per quarter, and to make progress properly in the standings you MUST play all four quarters.

you are in fact intended to play out the full game, so in such games I believe a full game of 4 credits should be allowed.
