Re: Arcade Club, Bury UK
Hi Al, I did end up visiting the Arcade Club in Leeds as well and you're right it's a nicer setup for that building. Now back on the other side of the world again, trying to adjust to NZ time again... although having said that I'm now on my next work trip across the ditch to Australia which is 2 hou...

Re: Arcade Club, Bury UK
I'm currently in Skipton, UK, for work and took a drive down towards Manchester to visit this place. You are correct Al, it is a great place to visit. There was also a Q&A session with Jeff Minter as part of celebrations for the recent release of Llamasoft: The Jeff Minter Story. It was fun to c...

Re: WHO is admin here I can contact
I can't get into my BJ profile either. Obviously, my password wasn't what I thought it was and when I moved onto a new computer I lost the 'remembered' password in my browser. Maybe one day Zwaxy will resurface and be able to reset my account?!?

Re: Help, Need a Password change!
Good luck. I asked the same thing back in June last year but it appears we don't have anyone around who is able to reset passwords for MARP usercodes.

Re: Battle Beyond The Stars the arcade game
I believe someone like Taito had an office here in Christchurch, NZ in the arcade 'hey-days', so it may well have been a one-off prototype created here and play tested here, before being sent anywhere else. Or maybe it was one of the other local arcade game manufacturers testing a prototype. Seems l...

Battle Beyond The Stars the arcade game
Does anyone else remember playing an arcade game called Battle Beyond the Stars? It was probably loosely based on the movie of the same name as it had a button for the Stellar Converter, as well as a mega-blaster button and a standard fire button. I remember playing it a few times, but I only ever s...

Resetting Marp Accounts
Is there anyone around who is able to reset the password for Marp accounts? Clearly my password isn't what I thought, and foolishly I had my browser auto-logging on and I no longer have the credentials in the browser and can't logon with what I expected the password to be. If there is anyone who can...

Hi Cicca, Yes, your situation has been on our main 6pm broadcast news reports every night since the outbreak started in your country. :( Our Prime Minister has just advised we are going into mandatory lock down for the next 4 weeks here in New Zealand for all businesses other than essential services...

Especially those of you in currently hard-hit areas of the world where Covid-19 is particularly prevalent at the moment and those of you where it is yet to become as wide-spread.

You'll find the answer by looking at the very first post in this topic - zlk edits that first post each year to update the bounties, rules, etc.francoisadt1 wrote: ↑Wed Mar 04, 2020 2:59 am Please explain what is the bounty for? which game? may one use MAME?

Re: Do not know where to post this Jcbritt and Jaydawg same person!
I know it's the same person because they showed me the scores on my discord .. I knew they had the other account. That's useful to know. Over to someone with suitable access to see if the two accounts can be safely combined. Should be able to tell if it's from the same IP Adresss . Unless they're p...

Re: Do not know where to post this Jcbritt and Jaydawg same person!
Perhaps lots of people are like me and are taking a break from their computers around Christmas time? in my case it's also summer time so there's better things to do than being inside on a computer!! It's not like anyone is paid to look at these forums, or perhaps those who read the post don't reall...

Re: How to download First Mame Olympics recorded games
The most likely version used for tournaments of that era was m35tg3.
ie: The 'TG' version of Mame which pre-dated WolfMame.
Unfortunately it still doesn't find the file when a URL is constructed using that version of Mame in the filename.

Such a sad few days here in Christchurch...
Work has had a very strange atmosphere all day today. It may be 3 days since the shocking event, but everyone seems to know someone who lost a family member, parent, child, close friend, previous work colleague, etc.
