I think i'll revise the divisor scoring rule to 1000 * RunsScored for a shutout, 100 * RunsScored / RunsAllowed for all others to make the math easier. Any other scoring suggestions? I think both methods have problems with mercy rules, but the divisor method works better  . If there was a ...

Okay, time for a more interesting scoring proposal. Score = (10 - your pitcher's ERA) * 100 + (computer's ERA) * 50. If anyone actually knows how to calculate the ERA, that would help - and this takes into account defense, offense, and errors, as well as making a 1-0 game better than a 2-1 (by a bit...

I don´t think that there are any exceptations.

It's going to be hard enough to score find a scoring method for 9+ innings (next poll). Eh, what would be wrong with having it scored the same way no matter how many innings it goes (as long as it makes it to at least the end of the 9th)? I mean, that's about how real baseball works... :-) the deba...

I'm going to qualify my vote for "a full 9-inning game" as follows:

If it's tied after 9 innings, you should have to keep playing full innings until somebody's ahead at the end of the inning (just like real baseball).

Well, why should you split the courses if you get more points on one than the other? Just like Shock Troopers, you must FIND the best path to get the most points. Same with Darius. Would you like a bunch of splits just because you can choose from various paths on Darius? I think not! I'm all for sp...

Pfft.

To make it short - due to lack of interest, 7DBS Season 2 is canceled. Sorry.

I'll probably be starting a poll asking whether or not we should try this again in a few weeks.

Hmmm, I've just seen the Special Rules link added to this game. It says no leeching before round 3. The vote was that only recordings where you reach round 3 would be legal, making it more dangerous to leech in the first rounds. Its hard to decide in this game, what is leeching and what's not. With...
