Yes, it is confirmed. The two player game can have a higher total score between the two players then a one player game, if the scoring bug is abused. On levels that give more than one potion in the bonus stage, you can add one more extra KO to the first multi-ko by using the second player to use one...

Golden Axe 1 leech bug?!?!

There seems to be a flaw in the scoring system, imho, and the top replay for goldnax1 exploits it mercillessly. You get a certain score per stage for killing each class of enemy, and this score is double if you make it fall off screen, and triple if you make it fall off screen with zero life. This i...

Playung 2 player in godlen axe cripples your score because the game does not add any additional enemies, and gives no multiplayer score bonus. All the available points are divided between the two players, depending on who gets the kill. There is a potential bug that could be exploited to increase sc...

I believ golden axe to be balanced for one player and not two. other then that these are very good choices. Here are my suggested additions. Rainbow Islands Bubble Symphony Smash TV (this can be cleared with one credit per player. m and someon else almost did it in real life i had to use one quarter...

nice. this definitelyfalls under the "leeching allowed" games, again because of the timer syst4m placing a limit on it. scoring is by both being good and knowing where to leech here.

Front Line is a special case here. The arcade's twistystick works differently from EVERY OTHER game's twistystick. To the game program it is a dual stick setup. when you aim the spinner stick right, the "fire stick" is HELD to the right and when you aim it up the "fire stick" is HELD up. you then pr...

are you plugging it into an unpowered hub?

try pluging directly to the motherboard connector, or to a POWERED hub.

in fact the current main event top score wins every match by ring-out. the life units remaining bonus overshadows everythign else, so leeching points by extending the match is counterproductive. Thesefore you must win QUICKLY, and if you can toss the person out of the ring right ooff tehe bat, adn d...

The question is do they end th game the instant the tenth run lead is scored, or do they let you gain extra runs until the third out of the inning. If it calls the game when you get the lead instantly, then the fairest score would be 100 minus opposing runs for win by mercy, and run difference only ...

MSTADIUM oi don't think this one fits into the rules. for starters it keeps a high score of total runs batted in, hits, home runs, verage, and er. i dunno how it actuall ranks the scores though. A full game of this may be more thn one game fof "baseball" you pay for a number of innings, no matter ho...

Question: Do all games wit mercy rule let you keep playing after you get te ten run lead to try and extend it? If a game with mercy rule instantly calls the game as soon as you get that lead, then EVERY WINNING GAME won with mercey rule will hae a score of 110!

Incidentally, there are two ways to do well in Main Event, as I recall. 1) button bash like hell and get those submission holds off early. This is definitely a feat of skill. 2) go for ring outs. I believe this to be the easier strategy, and you don't have to button bash to do it. The life counter s...

You know there really oughta be a feature to remap buttons for an entire game class, like there is for neo geo. I'd liek to be able to set button layotus not by driver class (like neo geo) but by cabinet button layout. Say all games that use buttons mapped in an arc of 4 (liek neo geo) will get the ...

People playing on thr real arcade hardware for this game (which used a very large, low travel button designed to be beat on hard and fast) can easily make 20-30 presses per second by doing a drumroll on the button wit their hands. such speeds are simply IPOSSIBLE to achieve on a keyboard without bre...

I agree with the keyboard diagonals are WAY harder then pad diagonals or stick diagonals camp. The reason is the keyboard protocol. I've noticed that many "hit two buttons at exact same time" bits are MUCH easier to pull off on arcade hardware then on a keyboard. You see on an arcade, the controller...
