Re: TK2012 & PP - ffreveng

Are you sure those bubbletrs and airduels are exactly the same? Not 5 minutes... something like 5 days. I'm not sure on Bubble Trouble but Air Duel is definitely the same. 5 days? Okay, I'm super rusty at it but I'll beat that Air Duel score in less than 5 days. Don't forget I went 7th in the leade...

Re: TK2012 & PP - ffreveng

No I' m talking for normal parent romsets like bubbletr, dunkshot, glpracr3, hoops96, sliver, strhoop. "Airduel" is a great score and you can't put it together with "ltswords" which I now started and has a funny score. You have a score of 87 on the parent romset of bubbletr, but on the clone (which...

Re: TK2012 & PP - ffreveng

I have also some scores in parent romsets, why you haven't won them yet? You mean parent romsets that became unplayed because the original scores got moved to a clone romset? http://replay.marpirc.net/r/airduel http://replay.marpirc.net/r/ltswords http://replay.marpirc.net/r/othunder http...

Re: TK2012 & PP - ffreveng

If you can't get over 90% speed during gameplay, then either find a version of MAME it runs better in (unlikely), or... don't run the game at all. Did you run out of unplayed clone romsets?

Re: saulonpb and his scores

Toki - On tokip you and saulon are not above 51K, while MARP top either on parent or some clones is ~886K. Also, please notice that there's a special rule working for all of Toki clones (and parent) that asks players to use Hardest difficulty (to reduce leeching). So, also "tokip" should be covered...

Re: saulonpb and his scores

Is it necessary to use that old rule of hardest difficulty? I don't think those players will now play "tokip", neither anyone for maximum scores. I have ready an inp of 97,000 but now I must retry. Are you just hoping in vain that people that don't know how to play the game will come back to play t...

Re: igby 2016

Way to go MARP team! It wasn't a complete blowout like last year, DKF had a very strong team and was neck-and-neck for most of the competition, although we pushed ahead a bit near the end, but they had a lot of great players. Screenshotties seemed like a very strong team on paper too but their team ...

Re: igby 2016

A few problems... 1. I think IGBY should be in winter next year... around xmas holidays... the summer is too short to play whole month. the Yolympics usually already happen in January/February though. Makes more sense to space out month-long tourneys like this. Summer can cause some inconveniences ...

It's called "play it out on your own and discover its secrets" or "learn to seek for information".
Seeking for information would take away from the 2 minutes it takes to play an unplayed romset for that easy 1st place though.

Re: pp Game of Sunset Riders 2 (bootleg 4 Players ver ADD)

If I report all broken uploads, will you archive them? And what about the already confirmed broken ones? I can't personally archive them (someone like Pat has to do that), but yes if you do know of more romsets in which games are in a not very playable state, then by all means post them. Scores tha...

Re: pp Game of Sunset Riders 2 (bootleg 4 Players ver ADD)

Doesn't matter if scores were already in place, that just means nobody has reported it as a broken game, and broken games should definitely be archived. I agree with Brian, ssriders2 and ssridersb should be moved to archive.

For some strange reason, this inp doesn't work at all with wolf175. Works fine with wolf174, though.
well it does say wolf174 in the description, so I don't know why you're trying to play it back with 175 :P

Re: Message to Simpsons99

Well here's the thing. People are free to submit whatever scores they want to MARP, as long as they follow the rules and play back to the advertised scores, etc. Technically there's nothing wrong with submitting a bad score on an unplayed clone romset. But personally, I just find it irritating when ...
