Re: [K9] Round 3 - Slap Fight (Japan set 1) [slapfigh]
Hey guys, I really hate that we didnt stick with games unique to wolfmame 106. Me and Hatchett were playing this tournament on a nice mame cabinet and now we're having a hard time getting a different version to function on the cab without a front end we can actually see and use on the old rastar mon...

Whats with this asking your opponet to post a score in the name of fair play?? If you're worried your opponet might be witholding a score then I would encourage you to continue to improve your score as best you can. This is a heads up match, I dont believe there are rules about posting so your oppon...

Skyrim to knockout the Knockout?
Skyrim tonight ya'll!
I remember last year New Vegas kinda took the air out of K8. At least that was my perception, of course Im speculating.
I wonder though what effects the release of Skyrim will have on this years tourney.
A true gamer's dilemma.

Nah. theres something about the classics. Theyre hard yes, but with practice you can have that "moment of zen" feeling that I just dont get with modern games ie post 89'. You master some technique that allows you to crack those levels never seen by average players. Then the challenge reall...

Yet another game from the nineties that looks just like the last game. And practically every choice for Marp competition that I can recall in recent history and beyond...anyone out there born before 1980???

Re: K8 - Round 1 - Part 2 - Vandyke (vandyke)
Ironic? How so? Unless of course the game actually turns out to be from '84. Ha, then that would be ironic Or is lobbying frowned upon here? If so, my appologies.

Re: K8 - Round 1 - Part 2 - Vandyke (vandyke)
In terms of Mame its a fairly new and without a doubt post-Golden Age, unless you were born that year, haha. It only makes sense to include a classic to have a nice variety of games to play in the first round. 1996, 1990, .....1984 maybe???? That would fit the pattern of new to old. Maybe the games ...

Re: MAME KNOCKOUT CHAMPIONSHIPS 8
Just my opinion here but the seeding in the round of 32 should be a little different format. As it stands you would have players ranked #1 and #3 possibly playing each other in the 2nd round. Same with #2 and #4. Ideally you want to set it up so that its possible for the 4 top seeds to all meet in t...
