Heh, just improved my score, but only by 2 seconds (124 frames)...not sure if it's worth submitting or not. Ended on the same level, 18.

One thing using frames, it's more accurate. Counting gameboy's score, there's 4 that cleared 12 levels...while none of them have the same time, it was certainly possible...if they would have, it'd be VERY unlikely they also had the same framecount

2nd submission, cleared wave 16, start 1159, end 31921, total frames= 30762=511.88 sec, 8 min 32 sec, score=165127. As long as you don't have NVRAM enabled (which I don't think WolfMAME 106 even allows), the Williams games of this era (Joust, Stargate, Robotron, etc) will all be at factory default at every start up. As to playing, I haven't had much luck so far. Haven't gotten to the 2nd egg wave yet (wave 10), b...

ok, last place score, but here's what I've got so far:
start frame 836, cleared level 5, balloon disappears at frame 23521
383 seconds total, for a score of 55336.

So what happens if we don't make it thru all 10 stages? Do we count the time at the last stage completed, or the end of the game?

As long as the game itself doesn't have playback issues, they should play back if you don't get any bad ROM warnings when you start the game. I've already played back a couple of INP's with no problem.

I'm sure you don't want us linking to a site with it, but lets just say I had no trouble finding it with my best friend google Although it did take me two tries. First one was missing some of the files.

Minor improvement. Made it to the boss on the 2nd stage, with 1:57 on the first stage, so new score is 115,802, just squeaked out of last place for now

Thanks for the info. I've done one where I did complete the first stage, but didn't complete the 1st substage on stage 2, but thought that really sucked, so I hadn't submitted it. I'll get it in shortly, just in case..that'll at least let me get to round 2 :) I think I have the score calculated righ...
