I do hope you'll participate some. In three weeks I'm thinking of a game that might be right up your alley.....and probably you've never played before. Yes, I definitely do plan to participate. Maybe not every game but certainly when there is a game that I like or find interesting (or that I'm alre...

I was down on my last man in that game from 196-200k then was built back up to 6 men at around 370k and essentially kept it there until the end. That's funny, this happened to me to. I was on my last man just over 180K, but then built it back up and was never seriously challenged after that. cool r...

LMAO....dbh and I were playing at the same time I guess. I'm glad I didn't stop at 1 million. Don't know about you, but I got *really* bored after passing 1M. I wanted to stop my score at 1,111,111 but that didn't come at a convenient level (it's best to be on the first wave with no fleas to do thi...

Thanks for the suggestions guys. I did actually send an email to Zwaxy about it (one of the error pages I got during the last week asked me to, so I did :) but I didn't hear back from him. I think the file size is actually the problem. I'm sure the script has been modified over time and the existing...

problem uploading large zipped recording
Yes, I read all the previous posts about upload problems :) I have a large Centipede recording to upload but I am having no luck with any of the upload scripts (the regular one, the "AOL" one that takes a URL, or the other regular one running on a different server). The scripts failed in t...

Great score Tommi!! Your light cycle patterns look almost exactly like mine now :) Some of your tank patterns are quite different though. I don't remember if they're the same as what you were using at Funspot 2000. I was able to view the .inp with AlphaMAME32 0.69-1 running on Windows 2000. I watche...

I guess I should say something here... All those arcade scores you find in the millions are all using the spider leech trick which is now illegal for the arcade records by Twin Galaxies. Well, not *all* of them :) I am curious what the actual high score for Centipede is playing it regularly. Novembe...

on some levels, i've noticed the DDT bombs poison the mushrooms around them, or transform other areas into boxes of cleared out mushrooms.. I don't think it poisons mushrooms (at least, I don't recall ever seeing it do that). It does clear out the mushrooms around it. by the way, mr. hayes, have yo...

i've gotten to 300k once with it...but also i think the key is to erasing the entire field once in awhile when there's a whole centipede on the screen, but i think it was referring only to the turnover point....i think its kind of a risky strategy, because you lose most of your men, when you try to...

i haven't checked...(mainly because i've never gotten that high).. but there must be a limit to the number of mushrooms on the bottom part...and it must turn over at some point (i would think).. otherwise there would be no room to move, and the fleas would keep coming? i'll try to come up with some...

also, i read the instructions for the first time, and after 15 years or whatever, i finally found out , when you hit the BEETLES, the WHOLE SCREEN COMES DOWN ONE LEVEL...sheesh.. Something similar happened to me with Carnival. I played a few times getting ready for the Funspot tournament this past ...
