Yes, I do remember as the years went on, the wheels were a bit more real life. But, what steering wheel do you recommend for purchase? What wheel do you use for MAME. It seems an F-1 type of wheel would be tough to use for something as Pole Position or Super Sprint.

Ideas for steering wheels

Looking for a good wheel for driving games. All of the ones in the stores I've looked at, seem only to go around a couple of times before stopping. Didn't the arcade wheels keep spining around. Would this make a difference in game play.

Thanks

O.K. I just tried to do a save state. As per instructions on the mame.net site. I pushed shift+f7+another key to save state. But when I pushed the buttons it asked me to load state.

Help........

Is there a list of games that work with the save state feature?

Thanks

Here is a screenshot. I don't know if it will help. Not much info here. How about I record without sound? Are other people able to play back your inp?

I found the ini file for the 86u3 version of Mame32. But I didn't see one for the 86u4 version. Well, here is the ini file for the first score uploaded on Mame32 86u3.

There are no Mame.ini files for either Mame32 install folders. Maybe this version of Mame doesn't create one. Do you have one?

Man, I just don't know. Never had a problem like this before. But I've never posted with this version of mame before.

I will just wait till the next WolfMame comes out.

Thanks

Here is a inp that was recorded on Mame32 .86u4 from http://www.classicgaming.com/mame32qa/down.htm The file is the last link on the bottom. I installed this in a new folder, seperate for any other mame builds and only placed the one rom in the rom folder. So, this should be a pretty clean build. Th...

mahlemiut

Could you post a link to the version you are using so I can record the inp with it. Or should I just wait till Wolf comes out with support for the Namco games?

It's not a huge deal. But as you see from my scores. I have a thing for Dig Dug

Thanks

I just downloaded the .86u4 version and it doesn't get past the sound test. I checked the 86.u3 version one more time and it worked on all 3 computers. Give the re-compile a try. And if that doesn't work. Post a exe. that I can download and I will record the inp with that version. So we know that it...
