Just stating the obvious, but - marp.retrogames.com is non-functional:

Re: K7 - LIST OF PLAYERS

Oh well, that'd be great... But.

As we discussed here viewtopic.php?f=12&t=14427 the binary built on my Fedora 9 with your patch segfaults while writing the .wlf file and leaves it empty - until that gets fixed, what I have isn't good enough.

Re: K7 - LIST OF PLAYERS

All right, thanks to a suggestion on the Arcade Extreme italian forum (thanks Jck!) it turns out WINE can run WolfMAME 0.106 at least for a simple game such as Galaxian... so hoping it actually works even for more complex stuff, I'm in.

Re: MAME KNOCKOUT CHAMPIONSHIPS 7

For Alessandro http://arcade-extreme.forumfree.net/?t=31011000&st=15 Thanks Marco. I'll keep an eye on that as well (and will post there in the next days). I already opened a thread in the MARP forums a while ago where Barry and Chad tried to help out a bit, but so far I haven't had the time to...

Re: WolfMAME binaries for Linux

Well, here's something to test out. See if there binaires work out. http://wolfmame.marpirc.net/wolfmame-linux64-0127.tar.bz2 (64-bit) http://wolfmame.marpirc.net/wolfmame-linux32-0127.tar.bz2 (32-bit, still using VMWare to do this, can't get it to link correctly under a 64-bit OS, but it will run ...

Re: MAME KNOCKOUT CHAMPIONSHIPS 7

Despite being a lousy player except for a handful of games, I'd like to try it out this year, just for fun... and as any other place, my problem is that I only run Linux, and Wolf 0.106 doesn't exist for Linux - binaries top out at 0.104 and I haven't yet found the time to work on try and porting 0....

Re: WolfMAME binaries for Linux

I only have 32-bit computers at the moment, but will likely have a 64-bit laptop in a few months. Chad's point is valid, though at the same time WolfMAME binaries could definitely be helpful, and I for one would happily use "official" ones rather than leaving any doubt about my self-compil...

Re: Barcade these days, anyone ? ***PL*** especially ?

As I said not too much time ago, I'm bumping the thread - will land in NY on the late evening of August 5th and should drive down to Jacksonville on the 10th to come back up along with the Springsteen tour 8) but then I'll just get there in time to drop the car in Newark and fly back... Candidate ev...

Re: Fire , Water

We're having the most soaked March-July ever in northern Italy - as far as my memory goes. Even my mom says she never saw the river with this much water at this time of the season - and she's been living by the river for most of her 67 years. Don't remember ever seeing these many rainy days, lake Co...

Re: xmame 0.106 + wolf patches so far a no-go

Thanks for the info - well then I can just fix the comment stuff, fix fileio.h and ignore the MamePlus bits... and then I'll have a stab at porting src/windows to src/unix. Hope to have some time during the week :D

Re: xmame 0.106 + wolf patches so far a no-go

I took another look at Barry's patch. I killed the src/windows/ specific parts, since that directory doesn't exist in xmame 0.106. There are a couple of rejects due to comments in the source being /* */ but in the diff just leading // - src/drivers/cps2.c - src/drivers/stv.c and that's the easy stuf...
