You should probably add Juno First and Gyruss to this list as well. Both of those games are marathonable even on hardest settings, so a 5 lives rules for both of them as per other games is probably worth considering. As per others perhaps have one of them as allowing marathon settings for those that...

The main reason for this posting was to point out to our no longer allowed vocal newbie that the norm for joysticks was not what he expected in all the various places I've played arcade games... but I guess that is kind of pointless now since he has been banned from the boards.

My 10th grade English teacher listed all the nonsense words in The Jabberwocky and had us come up with real words to translate them to. I had to break it to her that "chortled" was a real word. (And it's onomatopoeiac, for you word fetishists out there.) I can't believe an English teacher...

Wow, that's a lot, though I find it curious that Australia isn't on your list. Strange as it may seem, while I've visited a large number of countries, and played lots of arcade games there, I've never yet made it to the shores of my nearest neighbour. :? We are hoping to take our kids to Aussie nex...

I've put myself down for the joystick almost always being on the left..... and this includes the arcade machines I've played in all the countries I listed in my countries I've ever played arcade games in..... including the ones I played on the island of Corfu, Greece when I visited there.

Which side for the joystick

Since this seems to have been the subject of some off topic posting, lets run a poll to see where the joystick is normally located for arcade machines in your area.

Which countries have you played games in?

Out of interest, how many different countries have people played arcade games in? I've played them in: New Zealand - where I grew up and currently live Tonga Fiji US of A Canada UK Sweden France Germany Switzerland Austria Denmark Norway Greece Italy and probably another couple of countries that esc...

The joke is to use your weak hand to control your game... believe me. ... or perhaps the joke is to have to use your strong hand because your week hand is so weak it can't do anything except push a fire button. Here's a thought for you, use your good right hand and beat my 1 life Juno First score (...

TK2007 did you never saw arcade machines? 90% of them have stick on left side... No of course not, joy is at the right. If you are righthanded then you faster shoots using right hand. Left hand for move stick. Oh boys... I really cant belive what I read really.. I m shocked What is more important? ...

When u say pacman, which one do u mean, boys? And what score? All of them, and I don't particularly like the game so I've never bothered to learn patterns for all the levels. However, I grew up playing Pacman style games with a keyboard on computers, so it seems quite natural to not use a joystick....

This joy is too large. Main problem remains: How do u stick it on desk? with glue? As I said originally, there is no need to stick it onto the desk. Because of it's size and weight it simply stays where you put it even when playing say Robotron and really getting into it on both joysticks. You woul...

The major point with joysticks and the difference with coin-op ones is to stick/screw them on desk in order to be stable. Do u know or does any1 has such joy? The HotRodSE, apart from the buttons being slightly too far apart making games like Gunsmoke painful on the fingers, makes a good joystick f...

Plays back fine for me as well..... I suspect it will for you as well once you correct the filename for the inp file on your playback command line, or rename the file from strhoop_994.inp to strhoop.inp before attempting the playback.

Cheers,
BeeJay.

How would u judge someone's iq who wasted so much time in order to write in details how to use internet explorer for pointless purpose?
The purpose of those IE instructions was most definitely not pointless!!
