The New Old Audit (win36 and win37 cycle completed)
Both win36 and win37 are now fully audited, to the (near) best of my abilities. There were a few things I couldn't track down, and I haven't done a full sound check (or specific frameskip requests)--hopefully second auditor can do those. Anyway, it's a few thousand confirms, and only a few hundred l...

Re: Empire City / Street Fight + clones settings/score wipe
I imagine the MCU handles the coins, there is no sign of any real 'protection' in the driver except for it being very fussy about the coin latch. IOW it won't make any real difference to gameplay, unlike in some cases. ah. quite clearly my understanding of the MCU's function was not quite clear of ...

Re: Empire City / Street Fight + clones settings/score wipe
actually, my understanding is a bit fuzzy, because i thought MCUs were used to communicate between different processes--like a manager or moderator of sorts. i thought, and i could be wrong here, that they were often used to synthesize a 'protection' element with regular gameplay--but Barry knows be...

If I remember my comp. sci., it's basically a bridging microprocessor.

i'm #3... tried in versions m3237b9, b11, and b13. score zeroed, resurrecting a lower one underneath that is also unconfirmed. (lower one plays back fine; confirmed)

Sam3 and Sam32 same player
not a huge deal--player only submitted on one game... but he should be merged if possible.

Empire City / Street Fight + clones settings/score wipe
I remember way back (.72 cycle) Luja mentioned that this game had gotten a settings change--that would be from Easy to Normal and bonus lives from 10/30 to 20/40--maybe other things. I also noticed in MAMEInfo that this game's MCU has now been properly decapped, but the changes are not yet in effect...

Re: Saturday Night Slam Masters
Muscle Bomber Duo is a sequel (of sorts) to Saturday Night Slam Masters / Muscle Bomber. Not exactly the same game, although with only 5 months between releases, it's not like they made massive changes. yes, but not my point. after reviewing Sportsdude's Muscle Bomber Duo, currently listed under 'S...

Re: Saturday Night Slam Masters
and am i totally missing sth, or does Muscle Bomber Duo and clones not even have a single match mode?
SNSM gives you the choice at the start... do you have to flip a dip in MBD, or is it even present? i don't have the .139 so can't check at the moment.

Re: Saturday Night Slam Masters
actually, i think there's a better debate here about whether the two game styles are fundamentally different enough to warrant a split... but i digress; not that important. thanks, Pat.
