Encrypted Neo Geo games are fine with XMAME too. The DOS version doesn't even attempt to decrypt the GFX for some reason.

Let's add this set 1 recording to it too. Same problem as before, but now I've tried the DOS version, and it too gives the same results.

Also note that coins cannot be inserted with sound disabled, so that won't work.

It starts up without NVRAM, but fails early into the first stage. I've tried Win32 console version 0.56, and XMAME 0.5...

Gigawing 2 is NAOMI, so I guess that's what you were thinking of.

It plays back perfectly fine for me with no NVRAM, no sound, on MAME 0.59.

Technically, Gigawing is emulated. It's CPS-2 hardware, so only XORs are needed. Of course, those haven't been released yet.
