At least it takes me through the qualification. Doesn't make it better.

Edit: Since MARP is up again, I moved the submission there.

Edit 2: The page is up, but uploading isn't, so the submission is back here. :?

Sitting at a client who has all gaming sites filtered out (except for the marp forums, it seems), but I'll dare a guess anyway:

Ron's MrDriller replay works for me! Final score is 867515! No pb problems unless if you put your W104 in subdirectory instead of root directory. Is this something new? I know Phil talked about "isolating" the different versions and how that made playback possible in some odd cases, but t...

Well, when I try to playback, it desyncs at 345m then continues until final death at 388m. Did you use any non-default options when recording?

Strikers 1945 (Japan, unprotected)

Landshark claims 688,200 points, but desyncs at the first boss.

I don't seem to have the right roms for v37b13 so I can't check the first place, but Caseh's game plays back okay and is confirmed.

Moreno's recording plays back perfectly, but the final score is 1,992,700 and not 1,992,900.

Caseh's recording plays back without problems, but to 336930. Not the announced 398160. Wrong file uploaded?

Edit: Gerhard's recording desyncs at first boss.

Double G's recording plays back without problems, but I would call this leeching. He reaches the end of the fifth loop with 78000 points and then spends the rest of the game shooting missiles here without moving on, gaining lives faster than he loses them. http://marp.retrogames.com/index.cgi?mode=s...

Roncli's new submission desyncs in the start of level 8 for me, no matter what settings I try. http://marp.retrogames.com/index.cgi?mode=search&short=^aquarush$&table=y&per_game=1000&tourn=0&maxlines=999 Level 7 was cleared at 322,64 seconds, which would add up to a total score o...

I can't get Torus to playback at all, no matter what settings I try. It always desyncs after one or at most two stages.

If you don't clear the first level, that would be zero points, yes, just like many of the racing games and fighters. There is no good way of scoring such a game, in my opinion. If you don't clear the first level, you probably shouldn't submit it anyway. 2.n) Submit only games that you feel are worth...

Scoring for Aquarush

I just tested Aquarush and confirmed roncli's recording: http://marp.retrogames.com/index.cgi?mode=search&short=^aquarush$&table=y&per_game=1000&tourn=0&maxlines=999 The game is still far too heavy for my poor computer. Gameplay is around 60% and the explosions drag it down to 40...

I remember discussing this with Phil (I think) a few years ago. While playing it we got 36-38 different levels. (There are more, but the game only choose 36-38 random ones) Can't remember ever getting 39. It was some time ago, though, so my memory could fool me. I spent some time experimenting to fi...
