61,700 for me also.

Any chance I could get a confirmation on my playback:

I don't seem to have the right roms for v37b13 so I can't check the first place, but Caseh's game plays back okay and is confirmed.

score edited because three can't playback, must be an nvram issue? And thanks guys for looking at old playback problems! :)

I have just come back to this to try and beat the high score which is set by il_kornutazzo, I have taken a look at his playback and the game runs at half the speed of recordings in later versions of mame yet its been confirmed. I'm not quite sure what I should do here as I don't fancy playing it in slow motion, any suggestions?

If you check his recording and mine you will see what I mean by slow motion :)

agreed the 1rst and 2nd palces recorded on two maes the first is way slower and thus i think a rule is needed here, tjt?

Changed rules as:
You must use MAME version 0.62 or later
(At previous versions emulation was too slow)

Discussion(link)
For maws says that:

Code: Select all

    * 0.62: Rename (btlkrodj) to (btlkroad). Changed VSync to 59.299999Hz.
    * 27th July 2002: Angelo Salese fixed gameplay speeds in Hot Chase and Battle K-Road.
    * 1st November 2000: Luca Elia added Battle K-Road to the Psikyo driver.
I'm not sure if emulation was ok before MAME0.62, however emulation was too slow at 0.59...So that leaves only Kelly's recording with 0.61 that *might* be right speed.

So feel free to zero all recordings before 0.62
(If Kelly's inp is ok, he can re-edit the score himself after reading this

How is it ? I had a previous record that beats the first place and had been confirmed and now has been removed (the first warning was about replacing the new record with the previous one) !!! Btw, I don't know how to delete NVRAM with that version of mame and I'm not able to playback inp files too. Anyway I'm gonna change version of mame and try to record another inp for the first place.

it was not deleted because of nvram it was deleted because the mame emulation was too SLOW, use later versions and it will be ok.

mabye trying in a version above .87 will give you a score thats ok. The version u recorded in resulted in a slow motion inp. Try again i guess...

I tried to download and install the latest version of mame, but it seems I have problems about colours (4 or 8 colours) with my WinXP :( I'll try to play from another PC in my office that maybe will not give me probs.
Btw, the same problem about playbackability of my INP og btlkroad is also in my INP of Solitary Fighter that I uploaded yesterday ??? Could anybody check it pls ? Thanks in advance.

I uploaded a new INP od Solitary Fighter recorded with the lastest version of mame. Well, now the game is much faster and it's pleasant to play :) (but I had to play with 4 or 8 colours). Nevertheless in the evening I'll try battle k-road too for the first place :D
