WCC 7 week 3 : BATRIDER-SC

This week, we will play a shooter:
Armed Police Batrider (Japan, version B)

But for WCC, forget the 3 classic courses (easy / normal / advanced ).
We will play the hidden Special Course : at the title screen, press Up, Down, Up, Down, Left, Right, Left, Right, A, B, START. This will enable a fourth 'Boss Attack' game mode. This can also be enabled with a DIP switch.

Special course is a "only boss" course.
The main (and cool) difference with classic courses is that you always have full power-up.

Split has been added for batrider & clones, so use the "batrider-sc" entry to upload your scores. I will prefer use of wolf106 for this one.

BONUS POINTS :
3 pts for the 1st to finish special course
2 pts for the 2nd
1 pt for the 3rd

Hey, Phil, you don't read Mametesters forum? This game crashes randomly in new MAME versions. Older wolf versions will be good choice for this week.

wolf106 has problems with this game. wolf 71 and 72 for sure don't have problems.

Feel free to use it (rule is any secure version), I don't care so much.
Personally I've played several games and never get the crash with 106

have to agree with des.
maybe not during the game but sometimes it simply comes back to emu (windows)
i used 106 and it occured several times (for example during fighters selection)

Use wolfmame pre-90, because the crash happens at me only in stage 6 boss in battle bakraid... while in batrider doesn't

i tried once when you first submited it but two players started the game and never moved only moved up, i wasn't really familiar with the competition so i didn't say anything, but i am able to playback the other -sc entries and they look ok, only starting with one player and fighting bosses...

Inp playbacks ok with wolf106.
And yes, you can change dipswitch to get special course.
