Round 4 - MegaMan 2: The Power Fighters

Post by gameboy9 »

OK - It's time to beat up a bunch of... mans. Or men. Or whatever you want to call it. In a one-on-one fighter-style game.

The fourth round of the MARP Time Trials is Mega Man 2: The Power Fighters. The score will be indicated by the game I believe, and the penalty for continuing will be one minute.

Lap 1 ends July 4 at 2359 GMT
Lap 2 ends July 6 at 2359 GMT
Lap 3 ends July 8 at 2359 GMT
Lap 4 ends July 10 at 2359 GMT
Lap 5 ends July 12 at 2359 GMT... unless rule 8 takes effect...

Just place your scores as attachments here.

All confirmed scores:

21 pts - 1. Destructor - 3:00.08
15 pts - 2. Barry Rodewald - 4:06.05
10 pts - 3. Gameboy9 - 7:30.16 + 2 continues = 9:30.16
06 pts - 4. ???
04 pts - 5. ???
02 pts - 6. ???
01 pts - 7. ???

Lap Leaders:

Lap 1: Barry Rodewald - 5:04.76
Lap 2: Destructor - 3:59.55
Lap 3: Destructor - 3:22.50
Lap 4: Destructor - 3:00.08
Lap 5: ???

Ha... I don't have a prayer in this one. 5 stages done, 4:17.93 + 1 continue = 5:17.93.

I quit in the 6th stage... when you lose ALL your weapons, you're pretty much screwed, I fear. Oh well! :)

I won't add it to the scoreboard until somebody confirms.

Looks like you need a 1 credit clear to get a time. Oh well, guess everyone will just have to finish it... it's not THAT hard.

Please use the latest WOLFMAME... makes it easier for everyone... fyi. 0.83 is also acceptable. (I think I started it just before 0.84 came out)

OK... I think I'm going to rule that if you do use more than one credit, I'm going to use the trusty chronometer to time the last stage.

With that in mind... the last stage for me took 90 seconds (rounded up)... 7:30.16 + 2 continues = 9:30.16
