-nvram_directory NUL effectively does the same (and is done for you via either record.bat/playback.bat or ui.tcl.
You can easily make a copy of record.bat, and remove the moving of the cfg file, also.

ha!
initially, i liked it, as it's from a great time, where the graphic's engine was new, like for space harrier, etc.
the game isn't that nice though, some bugs, also it's difficult first time, and, it makes me feel dizzy!

I hope you are happy RAX.

Stage 5: 6 31' 31''

I think I never have done the fifth race "better" than other my tries.

I've tried it a couple times, haven't recorded a game yet. I did watch the one replay that was submitted, doubt I'll ever finish all 5 races ;) Will try and submit something in the next couple days though.

I'm sorry that with digital controller it's impossible to write your name (and pick CourseB or D too)

Scoreboard
1 - (Stage5) 6' 31" 31 - Krj - download - Ok -
2 - (Stage5) 6' 52" 38 - DaLar - download - Ok -

this is one of the worst games i ever played. even buggy boy on the commodore 64 was miles better.
a few times, i was just about to finish 3rd on stage 5, and i come across 2 parked cars which are unavoidable, or a building jumps out in front of me, and i finish 7th.
this game is based on luck. no skill involved. you have to play it a million times to get through.
if the next game isn't any better, i am out. so far, the best game was outzone, and i hated that as well.
i know it is impossible to please everyone, but at least choose games that are not annoying, not filled with bugs, and not based on playing it a million times until you do not experience a bug to get through, rather than using skill.
honestly, i have spent more time "underneath" the track than on it.
cars overtake me while they are not even on the track, buildings screw you up on the track, while you can safely pass through them OFF the track, it is total madness.
what a disaster. the lack of entries proves my complaints... :(
i have played this game 30 times today. every time i get to stage 5, and i get screwed by a bug. sprite collision is a total joke.
any racing game where you can go round hairpins at top speed is a joke... :(

Sorry to hear this Kernzy, as you said I can't please anyone, that's the reason why we'll have five games of five genres in this TT. I hope that you'll like at least the next two games.

I chose Power Drift because it's fast, because it's frenzied, because it's short, because you have to memorize few curves to play it through.
Its emulation is good, the collisions weren't always fair in the original arcade game too, it was the price graphic paid to race speed. I mostly hate the collisions with other cars than with obstacles, but I really liked this arcade in '90, so perhaps I'm not that objective.
My worst fear was that you players could have problem with commands configuration, and I was likely right.
The lack of entries disappoints me too, but I can't do much more than this when people play 30 times and submit nothing.

Anyway, I picked this game and it's my fault if most players dislike it.

You should learn from Takumi Fujiwara to taking haripins at top speed: maybe there is a gutter nearby :)

i played this by mistake on wolf151. it has a gear stick in the bottom right corner. in wolf150, there isn't one, and it ruins the race sometimes. has anyone else got this problem? can we fix it?
cheers! 8)

In Wolf150 too it's there: it's not part of the game, emulator shows it because is useful to know the actual position of gear stick (that you change back and forth pushing the same button).
Why do you say it ruins the race?
