I swear that yellow tabby looks just like my cat Charlie...anyway, let's talk about games again. Spy Hunter 1983 Bally / Midway.http://marp.retrogames.com/inp/1/8/0/bb ... mame62.zip Have you guys seen this ? Magnificent! Plus since this one requires a gas pedal for accurate speed control , near impossible! Just downloaded it.
Okay Satans Hollow 1981 Bally/Midway
(Set 1) score is 232,325 {BBH} Wow! about 4x what i can get with twice that amount of ships to start.
(Set 2) score is 238,930 {BBH} double Wow! How in the world!? I,m good for about 40k thats all.
Gorf Bally / Midway 1981 I remember when this one came to town over twenty years ago , it cost .50 to play one credit(3 ships). 1.00 for 2 credits(6 ships) Add the current rate of inflation and that would be about 3.00 for (6 ships) or .50 per ship today :!: Another , Galaga Namco 1981 / I Remember a machine that would allow you to dock a third ship to create a triangle formation. Petty cool , right? One more Solar Fox 1981 Bally Midway. Someone at Marp broke a million on it. Not easy at all :!:

thanks for the kudos. the funny thing is that my Satan's Hollow (set 1) score is one of my old recordings on MARP... it was the second thing I ever submitted to the site. the first being a one-credit finish on Black Tiger, which Krool ended up beating my score on in less than 24 hours. So I ended up looking for something else to play, found Satan's Hollow, and figured I could try to beat Rodimus Prime's score. I figured someone would come along later and smash that score, but it's stood there for 5 years... I guess players like the ones in the TG book that have Satan's Hollow mastered are rare. :) (TG record is/was 43 million)

Spy Hunter is fun, but awfully frustrating sometimes. I was playing it a lot back in December for some reason. I managed to find a button layout for my pad that worked pretty well, but the control is still too sensitive in that game. I need more experience with the arcade controls... apparently Pat Laffaye is pretty good at it. :)
