Only very recently have slightly higher scores been done on the arcade machine.

Nice!!!

I quickly watched the beginning portion of the game using F10...Aart got a lot of bananas and pears on those early boards. I'd like to hear his opinion about controlling what fruit comes out.

mspacman score

Post by kranser » Fri Jan 11, 2008 11:06 am

I've watched that mspacman score (mostly using F10). Game Resets after round 141 - Are there only 141 rounds in mspacman then?

Also, how come he can go through the blue ghost unharmed at the start of Round 02?

Kranser.

No, Namco's programmers just suck. :)

I especially like:

"It seems whoever wrote the code for Ms. Pac-Man didn't know the first thing about basic Z80 assembly language."

Since the CP instruction works like a subtraction, I can certainly imagine someone thinking that JP P,xxxx would work. Just needed to test it past the first 130-odd levels, that's all. :)
