MARP Team Signups for 2016 IGBY MAME Tournament

Wolfman24 posted an announcement about the upcoming team based IGBY 2016 MAME tournament. IGBY (Internet Gaming Bash of the Year) has quickly become a premier internet MAME tournament seeing a ton of competition between different sites. Last year MARP put in a very strong team performance to take first place in the tournament. Hopefully we can put another strong team together again this year and show the rest of the world how strong MARP players are!

You can see more details on the tournament in Wolfman24's announcement at viewtopic.php?f=2&t=15994. Signups are at http://tournaments.twingalaxies.com/#/e ... y2016/main. Signup is a two step process if you haven't played any tournaments at the tournaments.twingalaxies.com site before or don't have a TG account: 1) You have to Register for the site to create a new account for the tournament site, 2) You have to register for the IGBY2016 event and select the Team MAME Action Replay. Post here or let me know if you have any questions.

In summary, the tournament will run from July 5th to August 2nd and you have to sign up before the start of the tournament and select the team you are playing for. We can have as many players on the MARP team as we want, and you don't have to play all games, so please consider signing up even if you expect that your playing time will be limited as there is strength in numbers. As the defending champions it would be disappointing if don't put together a strong defense of MARP's honor!

I'll start a separate thread in a few days for nominations for games for the tournament. Each team will get to select 2 or 3 games for the tournament (it will depend on the number of teams). We'll collect nominations then discuss and vote on the nominations to pick our game selections.

Hi ! I subscribed for the marp team. I think it was normal for me to play for the marp team because it was one of the oldest forum where i subscribed for playing retro games

If you don't see your username listed on the site when you click on the MAME Action Replay team. you haven't officially completed the registration process. Anybody having trouble with the registration process feel from to post here or send me a PM.

After you register for a Twin Galaxies account and have activated it:

1) Go to http://tournaments.twingalaxies.com/#/e ... y2016/main
2) Login using the icon in the upper right corner for Login/Register
3) Click on the "Internet Gaming Bash of the Year 2016" upcoming event
4) Scroll down to the middle of the form and look where it says "Register". Use the pulldown to select the Team "MAME Action Replay"
5) Click the Register button
6) After registering scroll down further on the same page to where you see the list of Registered Players by Team. Click on the line like "MAME Action Replay - 27 players".
7) You'll see a list of all players registered for Team MARP. Make sure you see your name.

I'm not joining this tournament, but, as trying to figure out what kind of trouble RAX had, I logged off and tried to log in again, and now I can't too login in tournaments.twingalaxies.com because the LOG IN button does not do anything. An empty button with a nice animation. Even if on TG home and forum I am already logged in.

2) Login using the icon in the upper right corner for Login/Register << We fail here, fields for e-mail & password are loaded but the final LOG IN button doesn't do his job.

Tried to use a different IP of those who are in my range, tried different browser, tried after clearing cache, nothing nada niente rien 何もない.
SOOO please, if someone can tell "us" a way to properly login to the tournaments section, without calling for Wes and George everytime, that would be great.
It's weird though, cause the first time when Puzzle Madness came out, I didn't have this trouble or so I remember. I swear I won't logoff anymore.
