Really big cat :)

Somewhere for the annoying and/or off-topic threads to go. Feel free to post about whatever, but abuse will still be dealt with, and possibly with more force. Especially pac-porno. ;)

This member appears just to be posting to promote his links page.

What's worse, I'm just now noticing the links are related to coolwebsearch.

Internet Explorer users should go there only if they want their homepage hijacked or settings fucked up beyond all repair.

If you are foolish enough to get screwed up by it, the following link might help:

Scum like them are the reason I don't use IE anymore.

Yup, I saw the exact same "LOL :))" topic posted on another board using phpBB software. Couldn't be anything else other than a spammer. Nuke please.

I stopped using IE years ago because it sucks :) There are much better options, including Mozilla Firefox.

Firefox was not my cup of tea, tried it for about a month. Besides with the SP2 update IE will not be infected by sites like these unless you actively install something from the site.

It's all a matter opinion of course but opinions go out of date. Look what everyone said about XP when it came out. Is anyone out there still running Windows 98 and playing MAME under DOS? :D ;).

Security problems are the least of IE's problems. A HTML engine that doesn't care about standards, still no proper PNG support, near impossible to customize without fucking with the registry or third party tools (and even then not that good)... plus Firefox has useful extensions like Adblock (or just use the built in image blocker for whole domains), and good popup blocking.

Anyway... I can't help but to go on and on about the good stuff in Firefox at times :)

I can't stand XP, I still use Windows 2000 on my Windows computer. Which is about five years old now.
