Quickie Contest

Somewhere for the annoying and/or off-topic threads to go. Feel free to post about whatever, but abuse will still be dealt with, and possibly with more force. Especially pac-porno. ;)

Quickie Contest

Post by Weehawk »

Nobody really got into this when I posted it a few months ago, so I'll offer an incentive.

For each letter of the alphabet I have selected a videogame with that letter in its title. Below are the letters cropped from an image of each game's marquee:

Image

I have also pulled a sound bite from from each game:

"a" sound, "b" sound, "c" sound, "d" sound, "e" sound, "f" sound, "g" sound,
"h" sound, "i" sound, "j" sound, "k" sound, "l" sound, "m" sound, "n" sound,
"o" sound, "p" sound, "q" sound, "r" sound, "s" sound, "t" sound, "u" sound,
"v" sound, "w" sound, "x" sound, "y" sound, "z" sound

Whoever PM's me with the most correct games identified by letter before midnight GMT (a little over 12 hours from this posting) gets a Golden Era Game of the Week t-shirt:

Ties will be broken by earliest submission.

I will post periodically with the highest number received thus far to avoid unnecessary PM's.

I'm doing this on two different forums. Same person can't win both.

Please don't post answers to this thread until after midnight GMT. (That's 8 PM Eastern Daylight Time in the U.S., 7 PM Central etc...)

25 out of 26 has been achieved.

I can see I'm going to have to come up with something more difficult next time.

Does anything in that marquee look like the "T" in the quiz?

Kuba made the same mistake, so even if I gave you credit for it, it wouldn't affect the outcome.
