I was lucky enough to see the Girls School/Iron Maiden/Scorpions show in the early 80's. I'm not sure exactly what year but it was the Blackout tour for the Scorpions. I don't remember much about Girls School except the sucked but Iron Maiden is still easily the best opening band I've ever seen and since I'm such a big Scorpions fan, it's still one of my favorite concerts ever.

i reckon it is very cool to have seen iron maiden as a support band. that's cool history!
scorpions are just before my time, but they had a couple of very cool singles in the late 80's i believe.
girl school who? lol!
i got back stage passes from the scorpions tour manager for black sabbath once, can't remember his name... :D

TAR,
i reckon somewhere in time is the best maiden studio album. every song on that album could have been a single, they're that good. to see this tour would have been superb. unfortunately, i only got into them the year after!!
i will listen to that album tonight, now, that's how briliant it is.!! :D :D
