No more Christmas celebrations in our old building

Somewhere for the annoying and/or off-topic threads to go. Feel free to post about whatever, but abuse will still be dealt with, and possibly with more force. Especially pac-porno. ;)

No more Christmas celebrations in our old building

Post by BeeJay »

Here's a pic of the main foyer area in our old building where we used to have our Christmas parties etc. Unfortunately we don't have this building anymore so this year's work Christmas celebrations didn't seem quite the same as they did in "The good old days". :(

Oh, the building still exists. We just didn't renew our lease on the building and instead crammed all our staff from that building into one of our other buildings.

I can understand your mistake though, given how many buildings have now been demolished here in Christchurch......

I am thinking about doing the "Red Zone Tour" where they take you by bus through some parts of town that are still no-go-zones for the majority of us..... we've had friends visiting from out of town and some Aussie friends that have done the tour when we haven't done it yet.... so we really should do something about that given that we live right here!! ;)

It also looks even more impressive when the indoor water-fall hasn't been turned off. It comes off that metal lip just above that cluster of lights to the right of the stair-case turn-around point, and falls into the marble-lined pool at the bottom of the photograph. Many a punter ended up in the lower pool of the waterfall after a few too many "Fantas" had been consumed.
