Best of luck, Deadful. I really suck at H2H competition, so I hope I can keep up with you.

Same to you, Saru! This is my first H2H competition.

Anyone else having trouble with the game spontaneously resetting during play? I've had it happen three times out of maybe 10 games, once was almost immediately after starting a game and once after a pretty decent start :?

I've had it happen once (out of six) soon after starting the first stage.

Are You using Windows9x ?
I had memory problems with Phelios in my Win98 desktop PC, so I only played it on my WinXP laptop.

Had it happen on round 11. I am using Windows XP, and a 2.2 GHz processor.

Good luck everyone. Maybe I could've made it into the top 36 if I'd put more time into Phelios but scrolling shoot'em'ups is one of my achilles heels having to constantly tap the fire button and move in 8 directions simultaneously on the keyboard. Also I've been without my own computer for a while.

I'll be following the rest of the tournament anyway, good luck again to all.

All the best! LordGaz.

Damn, I've actually played a good bit of this. Fun, clever game. Sort of Namco's gift to itself, with lots of references to their earlier titles. Should be interesting to watch. - ZM

Please see the leaderboard for IB Angelo's recording - I'm going to need a ruling from the other two coordinators here.

I haven't watched the replay, but I'm assuming it's what I've encountered too. I never insert two credits. I've gotten a "ghost" player 2 that is there, but isn't really. It doesn't seem to effect the game in any way, so in my opinion it's fine. Of course, I'm not a coordinator. : )

The resets are very frustrating. I just submitted 715K when the game reset on me and I still had a man left!

Would it be allowed to use a different Wolfmame for this one, like maybe Wolfmame 101? I don't know if that one will suffer the same problem, but I was able to complete a couple test games up to 600-700K.
