Well, I guess you five aren't the worst enemy, then... if we think logically about it... :)

Yeah, we stopped the coordinator leaderboard, because I knew I was going to get my butt kicked in Tinkle Pit... then after that... oh, Ghosts N' Goblins... I couldn't get past the first stage for the life of me... lol!

So yeah, that's why I pretty much stopped. :)

(from the nomination thread)
Phil Lamat wrote:I'm declining my nomination for k7, and for any other tournament.
For WCC, as almost nobody play last one, I had told in a previous post to consider it as dead.
At least I won't run another one, but maybe someone is interested.
I'm going to reply to this here so I don't hijack the nomination thread. Here's another post where I get to think a little logically... we inadvertently merged the WCC in with K6 this year - and I thought it really worked out well. If I did another knockout tournament and I ran it by myself, I would probably run that phase for four weeks instead of three, and then have the top 64 players, separated into four "regions", either by region or randomly selected "regions", in a single elimination tournament after that. If there aren't 64 players, then we'd start giving byes out to the top seeds until we had "64" players.

There will be many, especially in the US, that would find this familiar... yes, that's March Madness in these parts, and it's just the absolute best formatted tournament ever known to man. Better than the World Cup even. OK, so I'm a bit biased, but hey. :)

And because everybody in March Madness has a little time to fill in a bracket and hope they're right - I would give everybody a week's rest after the first four weeks so that everybody could fill in a bracket. :)

OK - silly idea, but hey - that's what this criticism thread is for. :) Might be a good idea to try out if anybody wants to try it out.

You're cool George. You're still nominated though. :) Actually, I think you would make a FINE coordinator for knockout... in fact, the other four I mentioned would, honestly, do a fine job as well. You can call BS on that if you want, but it is the truth.

Yes. PEACE, PEAAAAACE!!

Because we´re members in this community and our familiarity is more important. We have many years here, playing together, joining tournaments and championships. The friendship and the respect with each other are the feelings that I most like here on MARP.

SO, LET´S PLAY??? :)
Long life to good games
