Congrats to both finalists. BBH for win as usually and Last Ninja for first and very good tournament. =D>

Thanks to K7 coordinators for some experiments in K7, especially for special targets.

BBH wrote:I do have to confess one little trick I didn't post on this forum - using the Mad Power car, you actually accelerate faster from the start of the race if you shift to 2nd gear, skipping 1st gear entirely. This ends up making a difference of around .6 or .7 seconds in the pre-stage time. Doesn't sound like much, but when you add it up across 10 courses it makes a difference of roughly 6 to 7 seconds! I was doing this in all my inps after the first few, and was wondering if you'd catch it... guess I got lucky on this one.
I've actually discovered this one just a couple of days ago (i think i've used it in my last replays, i don't remember). In the beginning, i've noticed that starting directly with the 3rd gear can contantly bring to a 16''86 in the pre-stage, while normally you can only reach 17''03 at best. Also, using a little of 1st gear then switching directly to 3rd gear can sometimes bring you to a 16''30.
Great game, perfect for a final match :)

K7 coordinators, can you make here a recap of BBH & Last Ninja's scores, displaying total time for each ?

I've gone through and confirmed all the replays by BBH and LastNinja2. BBH's Northern Europe replay playsback to 3:29.20 instead of the originally advertised 3:29.22 (BBH has confirmed this as well).

Final Scoreboard:

Code: Select all

                     BBH LastNinja2
                    ------- ----------
Atlantic 3:29.33 3:29.71
Australia 3:29.61 3:31.10
China 3:29.47 3:29.91
Hong Kong 3:28.42 3:28.62
Japan 3:24.47 3:24.74
Kenya 3:26.31 3:29.50
Northern Europe 3:29.20 3:30.15
Russia 3:26.48 3:27.70
Spain 3:23.25 3:24.30
Switzerland 3:26.17 3:28.08
----------------------------------------------
TOTAL 34:32.71 34:43.81
Congratulations BBH, and excellent play LastNinja2!

Nice job, BBH (but maybe you should reconsider being next year KO coordinator, so we human may have a chance as well...) and congrats to lastninja2 too

Congratulations, BBH!! Great play on K7 in every games that you´ve played.

And, of course, congratulations to the coordinators. I liked a lot the rules on the first round! Very original idea.

See you on K8 !! :)

It took a while to get my account approved so this is coming ridiculously late, but better than never..... Congratulations BBH, you have proved yourself again to be one hell of a talented gamer. =D> I can't wait to be a part of this year's Knockout tourney and hopefully rough you up a bit, assuming of course I can even make it out of round one. :D
I'm too sexy for everything.
