let it be known that I only did that to prove a point, since Kelly seemed to think it was a legitimate and fair way to score points. I am all for banning it entirely, obviously.

The glitches in this game are a part of NES history. I always used this glitch to max out my experience points and learn all the moves early in the game, when playing this on my NES for fun.

However, when playing in a points competition, it obviously shouldn't be allowed.

Why is it taking so long to change the rules for this game?

I have no idea what should I write as special rules for this. Leeching is not allowed at marp, so any editor can zero the score imo.

Because it's not a popular game for competition at MARP and because there weren't a lot of people going wild with the glitch. So it was just sorta forgotten.

Special rules added (it's sort of a difficult thing to describe without seeing it in action... so I also included a link to Pat's recording since it's the most recent) and the three offending recordings were zeroed.
