And apparently, the Swimming 'cheat' WAS available in arcades.....
Just how did this swimming cheat work? If we'd known about it in the arcades we'd have qualified 45s more than the twice we did :-(

Nice record on the triple jump - what speed / angles was this achieved at?

Chris

PS I am the other half of HFX

PPS Jon's records for the archery aren't quite correct, our other saddo mate actually had a HS machine in his flat and was the archery expert. When I visited once he was very proud to show me his full screen of 13800's (3 x 8 x 600 plus the apples).

Swimming cheat works by diving with both buttons then , while underwater, press breathe three times, the third being the moment you surface. it's not critical but 3 breaths seem to aid the timing.

Very nice scores btw

Excuse the late reply Chris.

I sent a mail to Jon with some HS info. Eh, that jump would have been
speeds of say between 1350-1400 with the usual angles of 35/41/45.

As I recall it was a bit of surprise(shock?) to see that distance come up!
