For Megatouch & Touchmaster, only parent roms are split.
Megat2a-mem has been archived because Megat2a was old Megat2 but as it is no longer parent rom all splits for it are archived.
Same has happened for old tm2k which became tm2ka (all splits archived).
"megat6-mem" and "megat5-mem" are ok as long as they are parent splits.

On the contrary, some games like nc96 or cherry96 will be archived, because they are listed as casino games
(Pat has probably missed them)

For examble, "megat2a-mem" is archived because "this game is Megatouch clone and will remain archived"...
But "megat6-mem" and "megat5-mem" are not archived. Is it ok to upload a score for these two games or they're going to be archived too :?:
I would not worry too much. The megat5 and megat6 are parents so some variations will never be archived. However, if it is determined in the future that the "Mem-O-Ree" game is too easy or is not random (a lot of first place tied scores) then it will be archived. Hope that answers your question!

What? 8O
You mean Pat has finished with the archiving of lucky games? and what about all those, card games etc, which are still remaining in your scoreboard?
That's so unfair, all lucky games deleted from TK012's scorepage, why you keep yours? are you under some protection?

Yes, it answers about megat5/6-mem, but it does not about so many luck games which are not archived, mainly in phil, german crol and el wil.

Look, I never said I was finished. This is a lot of work for me and I do not get paid at all. I have already archived over 8000 games this month alone.

How about you come up with a "luck" game list like Tommi has? Then it will be easier for me to work from that. This will take some time, so you need to be patient.

Jolycdat is to be moved to archive, it has been removed from Mame :
0.147u2: Roberto Fresca and Team Europe added 'Bonus Card (Austrian)' (Fun World 1986) and clone Bonus Card (Austrian, ATG Electronic hack). Removed clone Jolly Card (Austrian, Funworld). Moved jolycdat program to Bonus Card, making it parent. This program is a real original Bonus Card program, and the PCB was populated with common Jolly Card graphics wrongly. The other Bonus Card set was turned as clone, since has a fake copyright string (hack). Added some technical notes.

All others are not 100% luck, they involve mind & speed

The card games are card games. You keep them all or you delete them all.

I pointed some pure skill games which were deleted (cmpacman, unkpacg, cmpacmana, cmtetris, megat2a-mem and megat4stg, megat4te with "fourplay").

Here is a list with Phil's lucky games(no mahjongs, no trivias and quizzes). First places only

There are many games in marp with an easy maximum score, mogura is not one of them because not anybody can make 50.

There are currently only 6 scores for that game, all with that same maximum score. That definitely makes it a game to be considered for archiving, for LB point purposes, as per any other games where too many people can get the maximum score.

Cheers,

flyball and clone flyball1 obviously need to be archived. Classic 1976 Atari game for a 2P challenge.
I also agree on Mogura Desse. It was not even conceived as a game to distribute, it was a test board used to test buttons and joysticks when still in factory; reason more to state it was not programmed to involve skills or a particular difficulty.

I would also like to suggest to archive "Exciting Animal Land Jr." [animaljr] and clones. The max score is 65, and you have a confirm of that by viewing the settings in Service mode: you can set amount of tickets the player would win for each amount possible of points, and 65pts is the max value.
Even though the game has a bonus stage, it probably has emulation issues and it can never be unlocked (you can try with savestate and any sort of stress), so, even if it may affect the final score in some ways (but who knows, who has ever played this on real cabinet?), it still can't on MAME.

As far as I can remember, not all the credits allow you to unlock a pattern of 65 mice, but, once you find a version of MAME that gives you that on first credit, it's basically kids' game. Even if eventually no version allows a 65 at first credit, the game is still using a defined pattern, and it's not difficult at all; thus, I believe the only criteria to use here is to determine whether this game is too easy or not.

Lastly, to demonstrate than I'm not trying to discriminate any player in particular, I would suggest to archive Cleopatra Fortune. Once the counterstop stress has been published, it has been easy to copy, you just have to memorize moves in a certain order. I did that too, I admit the counterstop part doesn't display any of my skills, but I tried at least to compensate by ending the game and stashing as many Perfects as possible, rather than suiciding at level 7; even more I provided extra replays you can view outside MARP; the tied 1st place is the last of my concerns, without that though I guess the replay, thus the comment with external links, would get/have got less visibility.
It's quite a pity that the score system works like that for such a game.
