Maybe we could find another scoring system for the games. Something time based.

A task for the players that loves racing games :)

OK let's go.
With Dik's recent upload, now 10 players tie for 1st place with 120 racing points.
Frankie is right, it's easy to break the ties with time displayed for each race.

My proposal :
Score = (racing points)x1M + (1M - total centiseconds time of race(s) completed)

Example :
Dik has finished the game with 120 pts.
Times (8 races) : 4'03"99 + 4'33"93 + 3'56"25 + 4'48"72 + 5'09"24 + 5'30"48 + 5'06"18 + 5'12"45 --> total = 38'21"24 = 2301.24 sec.
Score would be 120x1000000 + (1000000-230124) = 120 769 876.

If everybody is ok, I will start the changes soon.
As there is many inp, any help would be appreciated for giving times.
You can post there using same format as above

Sorry for the late response. I think it should have been scored this way from the start. The only downside is that the parent version is so easy that I coasted for quite a bit of the race because time didn't matter with the original scoring system. The clones are much more difficult but still some coasting was done. I'll just resubmit some better times for the new rules but others might not have the same opportunity.

Could you also do the same thing for F-1 Exhaust Note (f1en)? I didn't get the max but the current scoring system is the same as wgp which allows for multiiple people to have the same score. Fastest completion would be better for this game as well.

Thanks.

All done, including f1en. Merry Xmas
(I've let some unconfirmed scores on wgp & clones with old scoring, I can't playback them)
