good catch dan. moreno leeches for about half an hour to get 120000 points more against dhalsim, and then goes on to finish the game to advertised score. I would at first say this shouldn't be allowed but i'm really not sure how easy this is to do, it looks like you have to keep moving and if you stop for a second the timer procedes and the leech period is over. It really does seem like you can keep going forever pretty easily if you just time your jumps correctly.

this is a infinite score technique in sf2 champion edition.

work with all characters except dhalsim.

With this technique is possible COUNTER STOP and is banned from GAMEST.

Wow, I'd have thought that once you land after time runs out, that you'd lose control. Only affects Champion Edition?

*wonders if you can use the "starting the car" technique on an opponent. Would be much quicker :)*

edit: never mind.

ANYWAYS, I think this little trick should definitely be banned. I'm not sure if MORENO's recording should just be DQ'ed outright, maybe it would be best to just remove all the points that were gained leeching on Dhalsim.

Condition 1: Time is over when energies are fewer than the opponent.
Condition 2: You jump over the opponent always.
I think that it is comparatively easy.

leech points removal seems fairest, i didn't check acurateley but it's around 125k, starts around 90k and ends at 128k.

Renzo Vignola's Time Pilot recordings where zeroed in a similar case rather than having leech points removed (viewtopic.php?t=11929), so if we want to be consistent, I'd argue for zeroing.

Jesus Christ, leeching in Street Fighter II  What else?

Otherwise it should be banned and recordings using this leeching zeroed.

Yes, it should be zeroed. Leeching has allways been banned at marp, so when you are using indefinite leeching technique you knowingly dispose your inp for zeroing.
Any editor please...
