Nah, it took 3 months because Aaron "had" to re-write half the MAME core. :)
Twice during this cycle, most MESS drivers were disabled, then converted and re-enabled one-by-one to the updated MAME code. Fun.

Some good games in this release, including a preview of DK-II and a couple of nice re-additions.

Has anyone noticed if we've got speed improvements since the core is now faster?

Should be a noticable speedup for systems that do a large number of CPU switches. Otherwise, probably not much difference. :)

Notice that there are a number of games in 0.129(namely Double Wings,AV Hanafuda Hana no Christmas Eve,AV Hanafuda Hana no Ageman,Diamond Derby,Night Bunny / Royal Night,Night Gal,Status Black Jack and probably others that I can't reckon right now) that aren't properly working due of various minor gameplay issues but are perfectly playable for MARP needs.

Only Royal Night seems to work, I can't run Night Bunny correctly after inserting a coin.
Livegal had the same broken stuff, now it's fixed :
0.126u2: Fabio Priuli fixed 'P1 Start' start a P2 game (and some inputs are misread in Test Mode).

Not too hard to finish in normal mode, master mode is an other story.
This one probably deserves a split, at least tgm2p which have more choice on the start screen.
Especially the "death" selection, where I would like to see a competition there, staying alive more than 1 minute as challenge :)

I agree we need a split for tgm2p and also for tgm2 as the Master mode has a target of 100 - whereas the normal mode has a target of 300.

Mmh...it basically reads a button pressed...it clearly puts stuff on the "rate" counter directly, with 5 credits it works,somewhat...I was sure that was ok at the time of the submission anyway...

Night Bunny :
after better look, game is playable, but only if you insert 3 credits at least.
Maybe something to look in the dipswitches (lot are unknown) ?
