This one is a version of a game I know as Black Beard for the ZX Spectrum. However, it seems you can only play for 1 minute

Probably possible to set that somehow. I have the feeling we need someone who reads Russian with many of these roms

Another Russian game. I've uploaded a recording where I score the 4 balls I pot in the time limit. Is there a way to earn more time? Maybe Special Rules should say:

'Score is number of balls pocketed that shows up on the left border.'

The game also counts if you shoot the cue ball in, but that shouldn't count I think LOL

Someone know what this is all about? I'm curious. I don't think any of these games where Arcades, so they were pure Home Computer games back then. Please someone explain

Yeah, those are original ZX Spectrum games, just hacked and translated to Russian.
And yes, they were in Soviet arcades.

I suppose there were a lot of short name changes, now it can outpass 8 letters, and so that clones have name close to parent name.
Example :

Exactly. I think the last couple of releases had a few of these short name changes as a test, but MAMEDEV finally got around to finishing them all in this version. I did spot a few games they missed, mostly recent additions.

I can read Russian. I didn't look at all of these new games yet, but at least on bilyard the instructions don't offer any clue on how you can earn more time (I doubt you can). The instructions roughly translate as:

Rules of play: Insert coin to play billiards with the computer. Turning the hand to the left of right you may change the direction of your hit. Pressing one of the buttons you deliver a strike to the red ball. By hitting a pocket you add a point. Victory to whoever scores more points. Good luck!

And the message you get at the end of the game translates as: You won (or you lost). If you want to continue, insert coin.

As for scoring on this game it may make more sense to score it as the score in the bottom left (the # of balls you pocketed) minus the score in the bottom right (the # of balls the computer pocketed). Of course the game's so bad that it even gives you a point for pocketing the cue ball so we might need to say that those points don't count in your favor.

If you want translations on any of the other new Russian games, let me know.

You only get a point for potting the Cue ball, when hitting another ball first. If you do that you get to shoot again, so it is part of the game, and those points should also count

If you can get any infos on how to remove that 1 minut limit in "Brodjaga" or "Czernyj Korabl" that would be nice. Obviously they hacked them for people to play in the arcades, but why that 1 minut limit????
