ckongpt2b - Crazy Kong Part II (alternative levels) - john mccallister - 536,400
http://replay.marpirc.net/inp/8/2/7/elf ... olf139.zip

This recording uses 3 men to start instead of the MAME defaults of 1 man to start. The second place record by Ben Jos uses the MAME defaults of 1 man to start. With both settings you get 1 extra man.

This recording should be adjusted to be the score after the second death: 481,400.

An old problem on Marp ...
if default dipswitches has changed, then we have to deal with new dip (and 3 lives to start --instead of 1-- does make sense to me)

I think the change come from here :
0.127u1: Fabio Priuli fixed wrong coinage dipsettings.

Phil, I'm pretty sure this wasn't a case where default MAME dipswitches changed. It looks like he specifically went in and changed the settings he was using from the MAME default settings for the romset, which are 1+1, to instead be easier "standard" Donkey Kong settings of 3+1.

The version (Wolf139) he used defaults to one man to start, as does Wolf106, as does Wolf159.

I've checked and you're right : default is still 1 life.
