There is a dipswitch issue on demon.
The top three scores use mame 36.
Old default allows for 6 men.
New settings give 3.

In my opinion the top 4 should be deleted.
Timmykins uses mame 60
3 men / 42420 is the score to beat.
perhaps skito can zero the top ones ?

I'd say they should be "adjusted" if possible.

But when are extra men awarded in this game? In tar's recent game he gets an extra at about 8000 points and another at about 40000 points. In my game scoring 23000 I got none.

Aren't you setting a new MARP precedent here? I have no problem having my inp deleted in fact I might even do it myself but then you have to start doing it for all other games where the number of lives or difficulty changes in a new version of MAME.

No, we've done this before when we've changed settings on games.

It should be easy enough for someone who can watch the inps in question to determine what the score would have been if the player started out with the same number of lives currently used.

The scores should be adjusted accordingly.

Unless we decided to continue to use the old settings, this is the only fair way to continue competition on the title.

And what about the games of Capcom of the version of wolf 72 which were easier than the other versions ?

Taken into consideration, in the above reductions, are any free men that they did receive therein .

Great.

I had some trouble getting this game to work properly on my Win98 machine (no chance on XP).

I will try to verify these just to double check before I request an editor to adjust the scores. (Or perhaps Skito can play them..anyway I'll try this evening.)

I also agree lowering scores according to new settings, we've already do that in the past (with goindol for example)

All 3 scores watched by Tar edited, I let other people confirm them

While you're at it, Tar, can you check scores by GOD Inc, Sakuragi, and others till the end (many have been done with old version)

OK, I verify all of the above.

Zwax and Er Commissario Monnezza's games freeze before they lost their third man.

All others are made with current default lives.

If an editor would do the honors please.
