T10 - Time to vote for the games

Post by mahlemiut »

All right, it's time to start submitting your votes.

Everyone with a MARP account and at least a few uploads is eligble to vote.
You must choose three games. Votes are to be posted as a reply to this thread. No other method of posting will be accepted. You may not choose games from the previous four MARP tournaments, the previous two WCC tournaments, or the previous two knockout tournaments. I will attach a list containing these games. You may not vote for games that have already been voted for by someone else, as doing so is quite pointless.

Voting will be open for around about 2 weeks, after which I'll put the game names through a small randomiser program that I've written. This will produce a list of 30 games in random order, and the top 8 (pending the results of the earlier poll) will be the short list for T10. Then if a game in the top 8 is similar enough to a game above it, the lower ordered game will be removed, and the games under it will move up.

After that process, a discussion will be opened on the games' suitability for the tournament. Not wanting to play the game because it sucks, is not a good reason for removal. :)

Have fun. :D

Not sure if all of these would hold up under tournament conditions, but I guess that's where the argument phase comes in.

BTW, it's nice to see BJW submitting something for a while. My theory has always been that us, the old gamers, never stop playing. Only length of the break from the games varies...
:P
