Just a heads up, the actual ROMs didn't work with WolfMAME .106 for me. But when I downloaded the RAINE version, it worked fine. So make sure you look for those versions.

Current MAME ROMs work fine in 0.106. It's just the really old versions that don't.

Hilarious scoring system

Survival's not trivial though, since you can't take hits all the time like in Vandyke.

But collision detection is a joke, and no, this time there's no MAME bug, that's for sure

i think this game has a lot of input lag (compared to other games)

I think stage 2 after the dragon is the first point where most people will notice it.

After that I have a few problems from controls not responding in time (mainly bombs)

Game has 5 frames of lag, which is a lot. Wolf 99 has 4 which would help a little, what say you coordinators?

I found this hillarious..

"The kingdom of Alurea was one of the happiest places to live in all the world. There was no such thing as war, animals lived peacefully with humans, and King Chiki Chiki was in good spirits thanks to his newly born twins
(born precisely 32.2 seconds apart)! Yet evil beings have a tendency to gravitate toward nice, cheerful places to spread their gloom and doom."

I see no lag in 0.140...
EDIT: I see one frame of lag in 0.106. Nothing more.

Using the GUI I started the game, paused, held foward and used frame advance to find my result of 5 frames. Is this testing method incorrect?

:?: How does the golden frogs from the green treasurechests work (I can't get them every time?)
...and does the bags found in some of the ordinary chests make the green chests appear?

:)
:?: Sometimes I get 20,000 pts bonus for collecting all the coins at the end of round 2 (instead of 10,000?)

That's the standard testing, I'm not even aware of any other form of testing at the current time that doesn't imply the use of the debugger.

And yes, 0.106 definitely has 5 frames of lag while 0.140 has 4.
