It's not well playable here. Speed oscilates between about 45% and 120% during in-game. Tested both mame versions, and both computers here.

Good gaming to the top 4 players!

And before someone ask: why a 2nd puzzle (out of 7 games)?

Ok thanks.
I think it is fine for me. Between 83% and 103% also in level 3 that seems "heavy" with .152.

If you are having speed problems, I've found that same generation INTEL cpus work faster with mrdriller than AMD cpus.

If there are still issues getting Mr. Driller to run above 90% by the 24 hour mark (a handful of hours from now), we had prepared for it and selected an alternate title that will be announced at that time. We will maintain a 7 day play week and should that be the case, the play week will end at GMT 23:59 Sunday April 20.

If you are able to get the game running well before then, TRB, please let us know.

Sorry, but the best results I found here tonight were about 88% in wolf106 and about 91% in wolf152, the average speed, way lower than the 100% full speed. The problem it's not a constant speed, but very oscilating, doing quickly freezes. Well, I think it's different than playing with frameskip, sometimes you lose inputs in the frames, sometimes it seems that "buffers" your input and accumulate to the next(s) frames. Well, it's worst than playing online with a laggy connection. I found these comments, that explain a bit: viewtopic.php?f=12&t=12472 .

I got it:

D:\GAMES_EMU\ARCADE\W152>mame mrdrillr -rec 152test
INPVIEW: invalid type specified, standard layout in use
Average speed: 90.72% (211 seconds)

D:\GAMES_EMU\ARCADE\W106>mamep106-vc mrdrillr -rec 106test
Average FPS: 53.318180 (13058 frames)
Writing .wlf file: 106test.wlf : 106test.inp :OK

Oddly I can't run wlfview correctly in 106, but I think it's about 88% in that example (83,318180 / 60 FPS).

It's an AMD Athlon processor here, probably related to Skito words, also the words in the link above.

I also tried that Non Interlace option on Service Menu "F2 > Display Test" but the result is the same.

Other issue is that Skito's 1st place INP dsync here about 350+ meters, in many attempts.

Well, that's it... trying to go deeper in the game, it seems fun! But it's not possible to play at a competition level with these issues. I also think that Krj's 83~103% can be a disadvantage if played in high skill level, comparing to full speed games.

Hey guys, I'd like to note that next weekend is Easter long holidays, being hard to play due to family tasks, etc. I know it's to eveyone, but considering changing the Round 6 to finish Sunday (Easter, 20) midnight, why not changing it to finish Monday (21)? If ok, to be consistent with the 7 days long, I suggest starting tomorrow (Monday) at this time, to finish Monday 21 at GMT 23:59:59. That's with you, coordinators, if time permits.
