Ace13's inp works also good for me at normal speed ;
you should try sound 0 (as Barry said), or frameskip 0 to record (as there is frameskip stuff for you playbacking ace13's inp)
And/or use w88 instead of w78 ?

Valter "TRB"-Metroid inp desync at 193k for me.
http://marp.retrogames.com/inp/1/5/e/tr ... wolf88.zip
Best is use nosound and frameskip 0 for record inp probably.
[EDIT]
Phil info under this score:
did you try -sound 0 -frameskip 0 ? it should help
For me '-sound 0' is unknown option, I use '-nosound' for wolf88.
--------------------------------------
My 903k score is last score. One moment ago I finish 5 missions with 1 life but I lost 2 lives on 6-1 and last life on 6-3 with score 835k. I don't have more strenght to play in this round. Only 1 hour to end.
Game is very interesting but very very hard (hard for me).
----------------------------------
Uffff

I lucky win this round + 1 bonus point. Ace13 2 bonus points. Thanks Ace13 for very good fight.
PS. Nanni 200 points only to Sawys. Heh.

Yes, you're right.
That's something remaining from more than 5 years playing Mame with dos

Same for me ; final score = 192300.
So he isn't in the points for WCC4 (but with 373100, he only lose 1 point).
An other example why uploading the last day is not good
Final rankings for week 2 :
Destructor .......... 903600
Ace13 ................ 802600
LeClaqueurFou ... 476800
Sawys ................. 401900
Nanni .................. 401700
Wuzel ................. 203700

As Valter has problem to post here, I copy the mail he sent me yesterday ; if someone find the way to playback his inp, he could get his point back :
About my neobattl.inp...
I played the game a little on Nov 06, using Wolfmame 0.78. Trying to watch my inp, in sometimes I have problems like Destructor, dsync the replay. So I installed 0.88, reconfigurated it and played more on Nov 08, but dsync again. I tried to play using "sound disabled" and fs "0" (On w88 exist "draw every frame"... is it equal to your "0" ?), but I did it not on GAME properties, but on DEFAULT Game Options... so the game runned on "sound enabled" and fs "automatic". My 373100 score was played on these settings.
And FYI, all (except one) the wcc4-r2 inp here dsync, including others than DES inp. It is very odd.
All the inp, including mine, replaying in JUST the same settings, sometimes it is ok, sometimes it dsync! It sux! About my 373100 inp, sometimes here I also dsync at 192300, but in the most part, the replay is ok! Please see the follow "statistics" and please try to replay it to validate it. I think to do or not to do THROTTLE in some part is the key!

Yes, use throttle is some parts can be key, I remember my old psychos inps. Sometimes I must use throttle and next stop throttle.
But is it OK if inp don't playback with normal speed? What can see, what can learn from inps other players if inp can't be playback with normal speed?
If in properties is impossible to change sound then commandline -nosound option will work (probably).
I will try to playback Valter inp but ....
