Noticed the new button on the MARP page.

Might get better results if some information was offered on what exactly the money would be used for, how much is needed, etc...

And, on the subject of modifications to the website, how about an ignore feature? One could keep a list of players whose results would then not appear in leaderboard tallying, upload notifications, search results etc...

If nobody else answers this, then the ignore button is already in use...hahaha.

Tommi, who are you replying to? I only see your post. hehe

Actually, paypal has a cute little paypal donate graphic button that would look a ton better than that make a donation button.

Under the graphic a short sentence saying support continued development and cost of the site would be nice to have as well.

Oh, you guys are a riot.

Hmm, you were the one that went postal on preload's replays.

I was trying to keep it more casual which is generally what MARP should be...fun and casual.

Hmm... well... I'd make a donation, but for several reasons:

1. I'm skint
2. I'm tight-fisted
3. I don't want to
4. My dog ate it
6. I'm too busy looking for 5.
7. My lack of imagination is causing me to run out of excuses, so I'm going to be too busy until I think of some more.

Uh.....well, it's true that I am concerned that MARP's current policy seems to give no incentive to dishonest players not to cheat, but my only advice to preload specifically was that he would be less suspected if he recorded in alphamame. Hardly seems vicious, I was trying to be helpful. And I hadn't even looked at his inps until Barry asked for someone to test his detection program.

I notice however, that after using wolfmame for a couple of recordings he has gone back to insecure versions of MAME. I even asked an italian member to ask preload, in italian, why he had done that if he was so interested in showing how honest he is. The member in question read the thread about preload's submissions, came back and said "There's no language barrier here, he's just cheating." But that's just his opinion.

Trivia: in the Playstation game "Nuclear Strike", the password to give one infinite ammunition was "gopostal".
