Remember to check if he's used the ASM 68k core or not (listed in the console output), and if so, you'll need to use -nom68k_c_core for it to work. Kelly used this for one of his recent inps (can't remember which right now), although I don't see any real reason why he would. It causes more emulation bugs, and the speed difference is degligible on any relatively modern PC.

^^;; I didn't realize that caused problems. I recently lost my Mame directory in a harddrive chaos crash and had to reget EVERYTHING, so I am still finetuning settings. I will ensure it is NOT enabled. This was in all honesty, a mistake on my part. Asm 68 is TOAST now [unchecked] and so is that RDTSC timing thingee... but would something bork my inps for playback for someone if I used "Increase Thread Priority"? .

Thanks for this info Barry. Perhaps a newspost on the Marp upload site would be in good order, so some other new family member who joins us will be aware if they don't scan the forums?
