About one week ago I mailed for him why didn't use wolf. He answered that he can't run games under wolf because he hasn't roms for wolf

I answer him that roms are identical for wolf and standard mame, and that must use new 'Ctrlr' directory. No aswer from him now.

on a playbackability note, and topically, this is an NVRAM issue, cause it doesn't go into the test screen with a default nvram but doensn't playback either, anyone for a third?

From #marp last night:
Code: Select all
<mahlemiut> surprise, surprise, that inp doesn't work either.
<JTC> nvram maybe?
<mahlemiut> wouldn't cause it to go to test mode
You ever use IRC, Chad?

yes. takes too much of my time, so i try not to. Since barry verified it's an nvram problem, then i think this one bypasses the three strike rule.

especially seeing how he recorded a game on the ssf2tb romset, which gives a message about not working correctly...?

Because the game's network adapter isn't emulated. The game is XORed and works fine when tournament mode is switched off. This is the only CPS-2 game that makes use of a network adapter.

Has anybody tried to let him know what's happening?

looks like barry did for at least one, so one of us will zero out the remaining ones that were left as Garbagio.
