WCC5 week 3 - ZINTRCKB

Post by mahlemiut »

Phil still has PC issues, so here's this week's game.

Zintrick / Oshidashi Zentrix (Hack / bootleg) [zintrckb]

This is a puzzle game, kind of a sideways Puyo Puyo.

MARP record:
397,540 (Abbe, all clear with Pukie)

How to select the boss characters, I believe... not that I've gotten it to work.

Yes. The .jp in the URL might just suggest that :)

I've tried putting it through a web translator, but what I get from the results doesn't seem to work.

Another page with the codes. A bit clearer, but I still can't get it to work.
From what I can tell, the idea is to select a certain character (with A, as per usual), and push up+B when the 2P cursor is over that same character. Must be more to it though...

Success! Hold up+B while selecting a character with A.
Sheila -> Yormngnanoasknfao :)
Pukie -> Fenril
Subberg -> Ryu Eagle (from Ninja Commando)
Reusha -> Loki

Bad news: Only works in console mode. :(

EDIT: Demonstration - http://mahlemiut.marpirc.net/zintrckb_4 ... k_k150.rar
(Kawaks 1.50, avoid pausing)

I wonder if Phil will accept Kawaks replays...? ;)

Of course not :D

Good news : I've reinstated internet & mail connections on my PC

Bad news : the mother board seems wounded (if PC is working : no problem, but if it is lazy, instead of screen saver I get a reboot : I've tested the memory with memtest, doesn't look bad ... everybody has an idea of what is wrong ?)
Maybe it's a good news anyway ; high time to get a new PC I think

Many thanks to Barry for his help and kindness to update the first two weeks ; I've updated the wcc5 page and rankings :
http://perso.wanadoo.fr/plamat/wcc5.html

Can someone just confirm me I'm not wrong with bonus points, especially on week 2 ? (I've been connected very few times)
Sorry again to players for the delay

How about disabling the screensaver...? :)

Have you touch inside your PC? May be a short-circuit?

I can't understand what you are saying? Are there any special rules with this game?

No.
You can select 'hidden' characters.

In console mode only - ie: not possible in MAME as is.
