Marp become boring place after complain becomes tecnique.
I also upload very few recordings after cameltry becomes void.

fortunately, better replay sites stand here and there....

Definitely there are better sites for autofire kiddies.

So Rompers Gamest record holder deleted hes score, that must be because he didn't want world to see hes tactics. It must be a great feeling having a record at a true classic like Rompers...

I think this post is probably a good example of why they end up deleting their scores. :(

The sarcasm wasn't necessary... we know you don't consider anything done after 1990 a classic, but please understand there are some people who do.

Zek, Mog, Kottre, Maho...

EDIT: I should point out that I'm not suggesting that these sites are better than MARP. There are very seldom any recordings there that interest me, but the Japan fetishists amongst us drool over the stuff there like junkies over smack.

I do not think so.
Why does he make his web page to show pattern?
He always says "want to know better pattern.""want a rival."

He understand that "he will find any worthy tecnique at MARP or not."
Competition of Rick and Notman is suitable for MARP.
Good luck Rick!

Speaking of Mog's, it hasn't had any activity in a while, might be dead?

hmm... Less a month to go on T10. I wonder why everybody isn't playing T10. Maybe it has to do with JTC's protest of games that scare everybody away. Nice going, JTC! If you want to take your protest somewhere else instead of killing any future tourney at MARP. :/ Oh well... Maybe I should stop playing T10 for now. :(

Zhorik has pointed it out that there is RotaxMame vs MARP tourney over RotaxMame's web site.

I doubtful that the next tourney (Olympiad) may be worse or possibly drop out, IMO.

Later,

just because people dont submit doesn't mean they aren't playing. 100 scores are scaring people away? Isn't it a pointless protest anyways, as it actually shows peoeple who only want to play in one game how to enter.

You think my submitting for 7 games somehow dissuaded others from participating? That's stupid.

An alternate possibility is that there are people who would participate, but don't want to be bothered to submit for all the games, so they don't submit at all.

I also may not be the only person who feels that Barry's actions documented in this thread were grossly wrong. If so, you're blaming one of the victims.

I fear the only appropriate response to this would be deleted or censored by the moderator, so you may find it posted to alt.games.mame with the subject: "Attn: NotMan".

yeha, I am surprised myself...but have not played anything myself the past few weeks.

holidays are busy time etc. busy with family...new toys etc. :P

I was surprised that T10 started and included the holidays. maybe the thinking was some students would have the week off or winter break so would get to play. I am not sure how many regular MARPers are students though...likely a minority.

destructor...let us know you still exist....submit a score or two! :P

martin(the_pro)? don?
